Licensing Terms:
Impresario, L.L.C. licenses Tessitura to qualified arts organizations as a nonassignable, nonexclusive site license for the object code of Tessitura for perpetual use by the identified using organizations. Each prospective licensee pricing proposal is confidential and is tailored for the specific organization and environment. Larger organizations pay more for licenses than smaller organizations.

Business Model Benefits:
  • NO additional licensee fees or payments are due to Impresario, L.L.C. as your organization grows or you add more users. The license for Tessitura is a perpetual site license with a one-time payment.
  • NO transaction charges are due to the licensor or any other 3rd parties. Any and all web transaction or other processing fees you set are set by your organization and retained by your organization.
  • The same version of Tessitura is in use by the licensor and all licensees.
  • Impresario, L.L.C. is focused only on arts organizations and will not be diverted by widely diverse users such as sports, motor racing or other unrelated markets.
  • Impresario, L.L.C. is not backed by Venture Capital or other investors who can force business shifts not in alignment with customer interests due to ROI, cash needs or investor demands.
  • Impresario, L.L.C. does not have to adjust its business strategies to meet quarterly earnings goals or overcome cash flow deficits.
  • Impresario, L.L.C. is not seeking to go public or be acquired.
  • Tessitura was fully funded, developed and proven by a $200,000,000 arts organization for multiple seasons before it was licensed to other arts organizations. The Metropolitan Opera is "giving something back" to the arts community with a premium product at attractive license fees.
